03 Sep What John Discovered On His Summer Vacation
It’s back to school time but before we leave holidays for good…
This summer my son John discovered Calvin and Hobbes. It was like he found one of my cassettes from high school and discovered that he loved hair metal too. (For that to happen he’d also need to find a cassette player – but you know what I mean.) Some of the philosophical wordy Calvin strips were lost on him – but some of them made him laugh that “if-I-was-drinking-milk-you’d-be-wearing-milk” laugh. Most of the time, we read them together. We laughed at the lake, in the van, in the back yard and at bedtime. Over the summer I watched John get a new friend and a new pet tiger. So he picked out some of his favorites for you with his commentary.
John: NO STEERING! HA HA HA!
John: GLOONK! HA HA HA HA!
John: The thermos is FULL!!! HA HA HA HA!
Now we’re going to listen to Aerosmith.
